LDPE (low density polyethylene) is a lightweight, soft plastic substance. Because of its flexibility, clarity, and moisture resistance, LDPE is a popular choice for a wide range of applications.

The LDPE colour can be used to identify the kind of plastic or to differentiate it from other forms of plastic. In recycling systems, for example, LDPE may be colour-coded blue or green to differentiate it from other forms of plastic.

The colour of LDPE can also vary based on the manufacturing technique utilised and the additives used to make the plastic. LDPE colour varies, including natural (transparent), black, white, and a variety of other hues. Colourants, which are pigments or dyes used to give plastic a desired colour, are often added throughout the manufacturing process to give LDPE colour.

LDPE colour is also used to distinguish items and improve their visual appeal. Black LDPE, for example, may be used to make garbage bags, whilst white LDPE can be utilised to make food packaging materials.

At CY Plastics, we have a vast variety of LDPE colours and types with their own moisture, strength and melt flow. Contact us and our team will be glad to assist you in choosing the best one.
