Our Process

We Are Bridging The Gaps;
High-value Plastics, Lower Energy Consumption

LDPE Plastic Recycling uses less than 20% of the energy required to make virgin from petrochemicals, resulting in massive reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. To do this, we separate low-density polyethylene (LDPE) films from complicated waste products. We then clean and process the polyethylene films into resin before converting them into a stretch film to replace virgin films and end the loop.

CY Group focuses on LDPE Plastic Recycling because it can aid in conserving natural resources, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and the reduction of plastic waste that ends up in landfills or the environment. Encouraging LDPE Plastic Recycling and other plastic materials are critical to reducing the environmental effect of plastic manufacturing and usage.

Step 1:
Collection of Plastic Scrap or Waste

The process starts from the raw material collection (PE scrap) from local or imported sources.

Step 2:
Sorting

Next, they are manually sorted into colour film and contaminated ones. This step is vital to prevent the contamination of end products.

Step 3:
Crush and Wash into Aglo Plastic

Then, they are crushed into Aglo plastic form because the plastic film is lightweight. The reason for crushing them is to find any remaining impurities. This is essential where contaminants like metal, which with washing may not remove.

After that, comes the washing to carefully remove product labels, adhesives, dirt, and other unwanted residues. This meticulous step is critical to remove some of the impurities that can halt the operation, or totally damage a batch of recycled plastic.

Step 4:
Turn into Plastic Resin

The following step involves turning them into pop-corn shapes to make the plastic heavy. Finally, they are moved into the plastic extruder machine to convert them into plastic resin. Our resin is packed in 25kg per bag. We can produce about 1 tonne of resin per extruder machine in an hour.

Step 5:
Process into the Product Stretch Film (Cast Film)

Stretch Film is a highly stretchable plastic film made of polyethylene (PE) base materials and is widely used for pallet wrapping and packaging of industrial product to secure loading for efficient transit handling and storage.
